With this page we will try to make an compendium of the world species of reptiles and amphibians through describing each genera of every family to be found on all continents.

We will also use this site to discuss and describe taxonomic problems which we find interesting as well as to tell about certain newly described species. You will find these notes below under the Taxonomy heading.

Publications marked with are not part of our personal collection. If you have access to these publications or other which might be of value to this project or have written any yourself, you are more than welcome to contact us or when possible send us a copy of the publication. If you have any pictures taken in naturalistic setups or in nature, that you are willing to let us use, please don't hesitate to send these. All people helping us will of course be mentioned in the Acknowledgments.
