The genus Gastropholis contains four species distributed in tropical part of Africa.

Gastropholis echinata (Cope, 1862)

Distribution: Cameroon, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Ghana, Ivory Coast and Liberia.

Gastropholis prasina Werner, 1904

Distribution: Kenya and Tanzania.

Gastropholis tropidopholis (Boulenger, 1916)

Distribution: Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Gastropholis vittata Fischer, 1886

Distribution: Mozambique and Tanzania.
